Review Cheap Petzl Headlamp

I like this Petzl Headlamp. The high beam is high and the low beam is enough for most things. The hinge works well to raise or lower the beam, and the strap is comfortable and stable. For the price it's tough to beat.

This Petzl Headlamp is not as bright as the more expensive models, but is excellent for kids and general camping/household use. If you are looking for a headlamp for caving or biking, this may not be the one for you, but this one is an incredible value and works as advertised. I am very impressed with the quality of each of the components of this Petzl Headlamp as well as its design, operation, and fit and finish. The economy setting is perfect for reading, the battery compartment is easy to access but appears watertight, and the lamp's on/off switch is far superior to the sliding switches found on lesser models. The only improvement I could suggest is an auto-off feature to preserve the batteries from the forgetfulness of my 4 year-old. Highly recommended!

Princeton Tec Fuel Headlamp with Pink and Charcoal Body, 3 LEDs

Princeton Tec FUEL-PK

I spent about 30 minutes on local EMS Test all the lights on the display. In the end I walked away confident that the fuel was Princeton Tec (4 LED model) is the best choice for under $ 50. Fortunately, the shop had the old version 3-LED Princeton Tec Fuel. I could compare the two and chose the version with 4 LED. Here's why:

1 light). The fuel weighs only 78 grams (2.75 ounces). It is a few grams less than other lights in the same price range. I do not thinkWear hats and dislike things on my head. So I wanted the lightest of light, without sacrificing light output.

2) Compact. The fuel is smaller than the competition. I like small, lightweight package for travel in exercise and exploration.

3) increased emission of light. The 4 LED Fuel (the latest model) has a light output of 43 lumens. Fuel older with 3 LED lights has only 35 lumens. For the same weight and size, I went with the new model with 4 LEDs. 4lighting (low, medium, high, flashing), I can always choose a lower heat level, if I need less light and / or battery life. Compared to other lights, some lights there are no more features or were too large and heavy. Energy Fuel 4 LED lights more efficient than others in its class - and more dimensions, weight, battery method and price.

4) swivel design. The fuel has a rotary joint that allows you to tilt the light up and down in a very wide range. Many otherThe headlights are equipped with a swivel design, but few match the area of fuel.

5) The replaceable batteries and battery life. expensive batteries are fine, but they are heavy and expensive. Remember, the whole weight of his head. Moreover, there is nothing worse than a dead battery and charger. The fuel used AAA batteries, which can be purchased at any gas station. If rechargeable batteries are a must, then just use AAA batteries rechargeeablePower of this lamp. I recommend the Sanyo Eneloop AAA NiMH batteries pre-loaded (4 pieces) and La Crosse Technology BC-9009 charger alpha. The Charger La Crosse is the best on the market. And the Eneloop batteries use a new technology that charges will last longer and has a battery life.

For about $ 20, Princeton Fuel Tech is a phenomenal light. I tested the rest and chose the best ... for the price range anyway. You'll be happyWith the headlights.
