Review Cheap Petzl Headlamp

I like this Petzl Headlamp. The high beam is high and the low beam is enough for most things. The hinge works well to raise or lower the beam, and the strap is comfortable and stable. For the price it's tough to beat.

This Petzl Headlamp is not as bright as the more expensive models, but is excellent for kids and general camping/household use. If you are looking for a headlamp for caving or biking, this may not be the one for you, but this one is an incredible value and works as advertised. I am very impressed with the quality of each of the components of this Petzl Headlamp as well as its design, operation, and fit and finish. The economy setting is perfect for reading, the battery compartment is easy to access but appears watertight, and the lamp's on/off switch is far superior to the sliding switches found on lesser models. The only improvement I could suggest is an auto-off feature to preserve the batteries from the forgetfulness of my 4 year-old. Highly recommended!

I have so many lights I've used over the years lost count. Each of the ex had a thing or do not like. (Not enough light, unreliable, running from batteries when not in use, has 4 different settings, if you only do one thing, it is presumed, "offer plenty of light" and so on.) This is a three useful settings. Darkest is bright enough to work with the light much brighter than seen for the hard to reach places like under a car in a very narrow, darkLocation. I do not need lights in the shop after buying this projector. It 'easy to use and easy to clean, adjust, adjust the angle of the belts, etc.

I bought this some time ago for a projector alone in my glove compartment as a backup for emergencies and maintain. I have a great Princeton Tec Quad headlamp, which I love. This was $ 20 and when I bought it was worth it, but the headlights are now much better in this price range as the product must fall in price as well. I have the Princeton Tec Quad for about $ 3 more and I saw the headlights makes it look like a BIC lighter, plus it's waterproof. If this were to fall butabout $ 10 worth it for the occasional user, or something from your bed or in a car or smaller, so you do not have to use them to break up or lose $ 40 to $ 50 for camping in the headlights backyard to keep the case. This lamp is durable and lightweight enough for only 2 LEDs. Battery life is amazing and is comfortable and adjustable. The worst part is that it uses a switch to turn on and off, instead of a button, but this is avery minor complaint. The only real downside is that you can send the latest, best projectors now come for a few dollars more. Petzl really needs to fix the price of this product.
